Complete your Smile and Restore your Self-confidence with Dental Bridges

Do you have mouth gaps due to missing teeth? Are you holding on to badly decayed or damaged teeth in Mesquite, Texas? North Mesquite Dental Group offers natural-looking dental bridges to complete your smile and improve your quality of life. Dental bridges are time-tested tooth replacements to help you chew, speak, and smile as if you never lost your natural teeth.

What to expect from dental bridge treatment

A dental bridge spans two points — the teeth on either side of the edentulous space. The surviving teeth (abutment teeth) anchor the artificial teeth (pontics). The abutment teeth must be crowned to support the dental bridge securely. This happens after Dr. Tina Foss reshapes these teeth to create space for a tooth cap. Then, we take your bite impressions to fabricate your tooth restorations. Since the fabrication may take a few days, we place temporary crowns to protect your prepped teeth.

Once your crowns and bridge are ready, you will book another appointment with Dr. Foss for fitment. We will adjust your new appliances until they look natural and fit comfortably. It will take time to get used to your new teeth, but once you get accustomed to them, they will feel and function like your natural teeth.

Most patients prefer implant-supported bridges over their traditional counterparts. An implant bridge is anchored on the jawbone directly without affecting the stability of the nearby teeth. Plus, implant-supported bridges deter bone deterioration.

Benefits of dental bridges

If you are missing teeth, it can have a detrimental effect on your everyday life. Lost teeth make it difficult to chew and speak and mar your self-image. The longer you stay without addressing your missing teeth, the worse the associated problems become.

A dental bridge is an incredible tooth replacement to replace your missing teeth. They offer numerous benefits, including:

  • Restore your oral functionality, including chewing and speaking
  • They are easy to maintain
  • Dental bridges restore your self-confidence
  • Prevent the nearby teeth from shifting
  • Retain your facial structure
  • Versatile to replace missing teeth at the front and back of your mouth

Whether you want traditional or implant-supported bridges, you can trust North Mesquite Dental Group for successful dental bridge treatment. Please dial (972) 619-7763 to schedule an appointment today.

Dental Bridges

A bridge is a non-surgical way to replace one or many teeth. A bridge uses the adjacent teeth as anchors to support the missing tooth or teeth. With today’s dental advancements, a bridge can be fabricated in a fairly short period of time, using a metal or nonmetal foundation. Don’t let that missing tooth affect the way you speak, eat, and smile. Bridges yield immediate results that last a lifetime. Ask your dentist what type of bridge may be right for you.
